Lantech, the global market leader in stretch wrapping technology, announces the global launch of its new AMR-integrated stretch wrapping solution, the SL400 AMR. In response to growing customer demand for highly automated stretch-wrapping solutions, Lantech is introducing its latest stretch-wrapping machine to customers around the world.
According to the company, this approach gives customers worldwide access to the same reliable technology and a consistent interface for integration with automated mobile robots.
Designed for AMR-driven automation
The SL400AMR is designed as a simple automation solution for warehouse and production environments. It is suitable for light, heavy, unstable or picked loads, with no need for conveyor belts, inclines or weight restrictions. The machine is equipped with a predictable interface for automated mobile robots (AMRs), giving integrators clear insight into the machine’s status and enabling them to achieve consistent results for automated workflows. Key technologies include:
- TurboTak® secures the end of the film using precise bursts of air rather than heat or moving parts, thereby preventing trailing ends that can disrupt automated processes
- Load Seeking Clamp® grips the leading edge of the film for a more secure hold and fewer film breaks
- Thanks to its consistent and predictable cycle time, transport can be scheduled without the need for manual intervention
This integration goes far beyond a simple pallet delivery. In its most advanced configuration, an automated mobile robot (AMR) transports the pallet to the wrapper, positions it precisely for the wrapping cycle and then transports it directly to the next stage of the process. As a result, fixed conveyor infrastructure has become completely redundant. This makes the packaging line fluid, reconfigurable and fully coordinated, without human intervention.
Live at Pack Expo 2026
Lantech US will demonstrate the global availability of the SL400AMR with a live, working unit at its stand N-5506 during PACK EXPO International, from 18 to 21 October 2026 at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA. This is the first time the machine will be showcased live on the exhibition floor. Visitors will be able to see for themselves how the SL400AMR wraps loads and talk to the Lantech team about AMR integration.
Lantech Europe will demonstrate the global availability of the SL400AMR with a video presentation at Logistica Next 07.B006 at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, the Netherlands. Visitors can see the C1000 case erector, the CS1000 Random Case Sealer and the Parcelpack tray-and-lid combination in action.
