Apex Global Logistics has signed a long-term lease agreement with Prologis for a 38,000 sq m distribution centre in Waalwijk. This well-equipped, newly built warehouse at a multi-modal transport hub enables Apex to expand. The state-of-the-art, all-electric warehouse has been developed with a focus on well-being, health, ecology, sustainability, quality, flexibility and appearance.
Headquartered in Singapore, Apex provides a wide range of logistics services across the globe, including air freight, ocean transportation, warehouse management, customs clearance and supply chain management. By signing a long-term lease agreement with Prologis at Prologis Park Waalwijk DC2BC, the company will be able to expand its global presence and network to best meet their customers' needs. Sustainability and well-being
Prologis Park Waalwijk DC2BC is a modern, well-equipped warehouse with a strategic location due to its excellent transport links via car and waterways. The 38,000-square-metre warehouse was developed with well-being, health, ecology, sustainability, quality, flexibility and design as key concerns. Therefore, the fully electric warehouse is equipped with solar panels on the roof and with charging stations for electric cars and bicycles.
For a healthy working environment, the warehouse has an optimal amount of daylight. There is LED lighting and biodiversity is supported by nature-inclusive landscaping. With this focus on sustainability and well-being, Prologis obtained a WELL certificate and aims for a BREEAM certificate with an 'Excellent' rating or even higher. Apex Logistics will occupy the warehouse immediately.
