Coolblue has opened its first physical shop in Germany. In an area of 2,600 square metres, consumers can try out around 1,000 products, have repairs carried out and pick up online orders.
The first German Coolblue shop is located in Düsseldorf. A year ago, the company brought its e-commerce infrastructure across the German border, including its own delivery and bicycle network. Meanwhile, Coolblue has more than 100 employees there.
The opening of the first physical shop is the next step in expanding its infrastructure. "In the coming year, we will continue to expand on German soil," says CEO Pieter Zwart. "In North Rhine-Westphalia, we want to further expand our delivery services CoolblueBezorgt and CoolblueFietst. We also want to open more shops there."
