Not only in terms of visitor numbers, but also in terms of innovations and sessions, we can speak of the best trade fair edition ever. So says brand manager Paul Verdult. "You notice that the market is picking up and everyone wants and needs to keep up to date with the latest developments in ICT & Logistics."

Some 5,000 people visited ICT & Logistiek over the past few days. That is a lot more visitors than during the 2014 edition, when, like this year, ICT & Logistiek was not held simultaneously with Logistica and some 3,700 people visited the fair. "It was busy on the exhibition floor, but also the content sessions were almost constantly full this year. In that respect, we benefited greatly from the cooperation with partners such as vLm, EVO and TLN, who accounted for much of the content programme."

There was also an increase in the number of exhibitors this year. There were 128 exhibitors in halls 3 and 4 of the Jaarbeurs. "All the exhibitors we spoke to were very satisfied with the quality of the visitors," he said. According to Verdult, you notice from everything that IT in logistics is developing rapidly. "If you are not yet involved in IT or have an emphatic focus on it, you will fall by the wayside. IT is currently so connected to logistics and the changes are going so fast that visitors are forced to keep up. Then this trade fair is the time to get your bearings."
