Logistics service provider Promese will move into a new distribution centre in Eindhoven before the end of the year. Where at first Promese only took care of media carrier logistics, it now offers fulfilment, wholesale, retail and omnichannel. The new distribution centre should support this expansion.

The new warehouse is oval in shape and includes a high-bay warehouse and a shelf warehouse. In the high-bay warehouse, there are racks almost 8.5 metres high. This provides space for more than 13 thousand pallet spaces. Wire mesh shelving, pinewood decking and mesh fall-through protection should ensure that the high-bay warehouse is set up safely. The system will be customised with closed side and rear walls and compartment dividers, among other things, The fit-out is in full swing. The premises will be commissioned in the last quarter of 2016.

The shelf warehouse will consist of three floors in a while, but will initially remain operational on the ground floor. The shelf racks have a striking length of 1150 millimetres due to the specific sorting boxes. The system will be furnished with closed side and back walls and compartment dividers. Constructor Dexion is providing the interior of the warehouse.
