Speeddocking 2016 starts at the end of March

The battle for the Speeddocking championship will start at the end of March. Participating distribution centres of supermarkets and food service wholesalers will be tested during the competition on the dwell time of trucks at the distribution centre. The centre with the shortest dwell time will become Dutch Speeddocking Champion 2016.

Cooperation for greater efficiency
This year, the focus of the competition is on cooperation between suppliers, carriers and receiving parties to create faster, more efficient and sustainable supply chains. Participating companies are assessed through data analysis. The efficiency of the inbound goods process is examined. Participating parties also take part in network meetings where process improvements are discussed.

Game element should improve atmosphere
The competition is now being organised for the sixth time. With Speeddocking 2016, the organisers hope to make a positive contribution to the atmosphere on the shop floor by adding a game element to docking.
