Stefan Kleijngeld will be appointed the new chairman of Jong Logistiek Nederland by the end of this month. The former winner of the Logistic Talent of the Year award will take over from Justin de Vries.
The board of JLN, a platform aimed at logistics-oriented college and university students and graduates, unanimously chose Kleijngeld on Tuesday. He will gradually take over De Vries' duties until 28 June.
Kleijngeld works as logistics manager at WP Haton. In that position, he won the Young Logistics Talent of the Year award last year. Partly thanks to Kleijngeld, WP Haton managed to shift its focus from a supply-driven production of industrial bakery machines to a demand-driven service. Together with suppliers, the company focuses on developing innovative 'dough solutions' for customers.
