Adrian Porteous joins HEMA as director of logistics and supply chain. The Brit previously worked at the chain as head of supply chain and in that position managed to significantly reduce the retail chain's stock.
In his new position, Porteous also joins HEMA's management team. The logistics and supply chain director previously worked at companies such as Woolworths, Otto and Karstadt. According to top executive Tjeerd Jegen, his promotion is a clear example of HEMA's international character.

Tico Schneider also joins the management team of the Dutch retail chain. Schneider has worked at HEMA for almost 17 years and will now start working as country director of the Netherlands. In his previous position, Schneider was head of e-commerce. Here, he laid the foundation for a new website and introduced instore picking. This method allows customers to pick up their online orders in the physical shop within one day. HEMA says about Schneider that the webshop has grown significantly under his leadership. As country director, Schneider is responsible for HEMA's Dutch branch.
