Trade fairs ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next from 5 to 7 November 2024 in Utrecht

Utrecht, 13 June 2024 – From 5 to 7 November 2024, the ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next trade fairs will take place at the Royal Jaarbeurs. These trade fairs are the premier meeting place for technological innovation, aimed at making logistics processes increasingly efficient. The sector faces the challenge of innovating together to achieve competitive, safe and emission-free logistics. How can your organisation stay on top of these logistics challenges, both now and in the future? Under the theme ‘The Future Starts Here’, more than 300 exhibitors, 200 speakers and 10 knowledge institutions will provide answers to this question. They will showcase their innovations, new technologies and solutions during ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next.

Chain collaboration is the key to success
More than ever, the entire logistics chain comes together at ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next. Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager at Koninklijke Jaarbeurs: “The fact that the entire sector comes together at these trade fairs shows that collaboration is an indispensable ingredient for survival in a turbulent and complex logistics world, and that you can make a real impact when you work together. Supply chain collaboration is the key to success. It all starts at these trade fairs.”

Resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future
Logistiek Nederland is working hard to achieve more efficient, sustainable and future-proof logistics. Many companies are committing to digital transformation programmes. Tobia Potters, senior adviser at Electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI): “The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) supports the digital transition as a prerequisite for resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future. IenW is attending the trade fair to discuss this with visitors and listen to their experiences so that, together, we can shape this transition.”

Logistica Award 2024 Ceremony
Established businesses and start-ups are invited to enter the Logistica Award 2024, organised by the Logistica Foundation. Prof. Dr René de Koster, chair and jury member of the Logistica Awards: “The Logistica Award is important both for providers of logistics solutions, to draw attention to new developments, and for users of those solutions, to gain insight into those new developments. Entrants to the award may be established companies, but also start-ups with new ideas.” The jury focuses primarily on the latest developments in the field of internal logistics with a Dutch contribution. “Developments, for example, in the fields of robotisation, AI, Internet of Things applications and software. Or developments in more traditional areas such as safety, storage, transport, packaging, ergonomics, energy consumption, process monitoring and sustainability. We look forward to being surprised by exciting entries. Entries for the Logistica Award 2024 can be submitted until this coming Saturday, 15 June,” said De Koster.
