Uber has concrete plans to deliver meals by drone by 2021. In a job posting, the tech company is looking for an 'operations executive' to be in charge of developing the drones.

So writes the Wall Street Journal. The vacancy states that the first drones should be operational as early as next year. In three years' time, Uber wants to start delivering meals with the drones, under the service UberEats.

The vacancy has since been removed from the site. Uber does not deny to the newspaper that it is betting on drone delivery. A spokesperson reported that the plans are still in the early stages.
