Ceva Logistics and Akzo Nobel have the safest warehouses in our country. The companies won the title 'Safest Warehouse of the Netherlands' this afternoon. Ceva won the award during the Safe Warehouse Day in the 'large' category, while Akzo Nobel was the safest in the 'small' category.
For the tenth edition of the award ceremony, the jury visited all the finalists, looking at safety, ergonomics and employee welfare. Attention was also paid to whether the processes are set up in such a way that there is less chance of unsafe and unhealthy situations occurring.
Only nominee
Interestingly, Akzo Nobel was the only company nominated for the award. But according to the jury, that did not mean that the award was also automatically for them. Yet Akzo Nobel's site in Groot Ammers was safe enough to win the award.
Ceva Logistics
Ceva Logistics participated for the third time, but went home with the title for the first time this year. The warehouse in Oud Gastel won over Schneider Electric and Hollister Services.
