Jan Kraaijeveld opens the day with a session on inventory optimisation. One of the most common KPIs being actively managed is the level of inventory value. General reductions often turn out to be too rigorous: they do not take into account the existence of internal fluctuations in demand patterns between departments and fluctuations in the chain.
During an interactive workshop session, inventory expert Kraaijeveld will elaborate on the possibilities in meeting needs: increasing available working capital as well as improved product availability - and therefore increased customer service.

At noon, the LogistiekProfs theatre will be dedicated to innovation for an hour. Paul Paul Denneman, together with several VeLA advisers, will discuss innovation in logistics. Many innovations are taking place within the supply chain, but which innovations are we currently seeing in the logistics subject areas Warehouse, Inventory, Transport, Production, Automation and Supply Chain? In this interactive session, the most important innovations will be discussed and we will find out what this can mean for you!

13:30 - 17:30 - Pre-election Logistic Manager of the Year 2015
No lectures in the LogistiekProfs theatre for a while in the afternoon. That's when the nominees of the Logistic Manager of the Year election will get the chance to present themselves to the general public! They can explain why they want to take over the title Logistic Manager of the Year from Edwin Wenink in spring 2016.
