Henk-Jan Verweij will be in charge of the Industrial & Logistics team of real estate consultancy CBRE Netherlands from September. He takes over the position from Michiel Assink, who becomes general director of WDP Netherlands.
Verweij is a familiar face in the logistics real estate sector. He has been working within the CBRE Industrial & Logistics team for seven years and previously gained experience at DTZ Zadelhoff. "Verweij knows the logistics end-user market and the investment market like no other," CBRE said in a press release. In his new role, Verweij will continue to grow the team and the assignment portfolio.
Michiel Assink will start in his position as managing director of WDP Netherlands from 2018. Assink worked at CBRE since 2004 and led the Industrial & Logistics team in recent years. Within WDP, he will take over from Rien van Ast, who will focus more on establishing contacts with potential clients and realising complex projects.
