Evofenedex is to present an annual award for young logistics talent with an innovative idea. With the 'Chris Bruggink prize', the organisation wants to support young entrepreneurs in realising their idea.
Entrepreneurs who come up with an innovative approach or solution stand a chance of winning start-up capital of ten thousand euros and ten hours of peer coaching. The coaching is largely for developing the plan into a fully-fledged business case for a financier, in order to take the venture to the next stage.
The jury consists of entrepreneur Michiel Steeman, start-up entrepreneur and also Young Logistics Talent Jan Minnee, evofenedex chair holder Jack van der Veen and jury chairman Chris Bruggink, after whom the award is named. Bruggink was chairman of shippers' organisation EVO from 2007 to 2016. EVO and Fenedex recently started a partnership and have formed evofenedex since this year.
This year, the award will be presented on 29 November, during the Logistica trade fair. Registration is possible until 30 September.
