At the Logistica exhibition in Utrecht, the contract has been signed for the new building for VSDV LogistiX B.V. at the Atlaspark in Amsterdam. Aan de Stegge Twello will start construction in February 2018.
New crossdock Amsterdam
Van Straalen Transport, De Vries Transport and Peters Vervoerscentrale merged in 2004 as VSDV Transport. VSDV says the construction of a cross-dock on the outskirts of Amsterdam will enable it to serve its clients in the Amsterdam area even more effectively. The new building will be built on an 18,600-square-metre plot at Beiraweg 5 in Amsterdam and will comprise 4,750 square metres of crossdock, 320 square metres of office and 380 square metres of truck wash.
Peters Vervoercentrale, part of VSDV, will move into the new premises in summer 2018.
