Yusen Logistics is expanding its operations in the Netherlands with a second logistics centre in Moerdijk. The multi-customer warehouse has an area of 24,000 square metres. Access to the logistics centre is provided via 24 loading docks.
Located at the Moerdijk Business Park in West Brabant, the Netherlands' fourth and most inland seaport, Yusen Logistics opened its first distribution centre here in early 2019. With a second warehouse on the same business park, the logistics provider expects to benefit from flexible staff deployment, consolidation of operations and efficiency improvements.
At the warehouse, which will be fully operational by the end of 2020, Yusen Logistics will handle logistics for various clients. The company also plans to develop e-commerce activities at the new site.
