1. Could you briefly introduce yourself and your company?
We are De Logistieke Koplopers. We build AI and data solutions that genuinely help logistics frontrunners get ahead faster. Not from a drawing board, but based on real-world experience on the shop floor.

2. What innovation are you showcasing at the trade fair, and what makes it unique?
What makes De Logistieke Koplopers unique is that we take an existing process as our starting point and develop a solution to fit it, rather than offering a standard product to which the process must be adapted. We achieve this through a unique blend of expertise: AI, data and logistics knowledge, all within a single team.

3. What trends or challenges in the market prompted this development?
The logistics sector is lagging behind in AI and data, even though no other sector is better suited to it. Much of the work is repetitive: retyping, sorting, transferring data. This is precisely the kind of work that a computer can now do more cheaply and more effectively than a human. Yet the market is mainly presented with off-the-shelf packages that do not align with how a planner, freight forwarder or customer service representative actually works. We turn this on its head: the process is the starting point, not the product.

4. How does your solution help to improve business operations?
Time savings. Fewer errors. Greater control over data that already existed but was scattered across different systems. Among our Frontrunners, we see AI agents processing thousands of incoming emails a day and teams recouping tens of per cent of their time. Time that can then be channelled back to the customer, planning or the shop floor, rather than being spent retyping. The aim of De Logistieke Koplopers is to improve business operations and take the lead; this can be achieved in a number of ways.

5. What is your vision for the future of the sector?
The logistics sector will evolve from a reactive sector to a proactive one; combining information flows from various sources will ensure that logistics becomes a driving force in innovating and improving supply chains. We would go so far as to say that logistics service providers will have changed beyond recognition in five years’ time. By then, data and AI will be woven into day-to-day operations, just as TMS and WMS are today. And that is precisely where the problem lies: a service provider without a decent TMS or WMS is already lagging behind today. Anyone who does nothing with data and AI now will still be in the same position in a few years’ time.

6. What can visitors expect when they visit your stand?
Everyone’s talking about AI. We’d rather show you. At our stand, you’ll see demos of solutions that illustrate what the logistics of tomorrow will look like. Think of things like the automatic processing of incoming emails, 360-degree insight into your operations, and more.

7. Why should visitors definitely not miss your stand?
Logistieke Koplopers will be demonstrating what the logistics of tomorrow will look like, what the possibilities are, and what organisations can do to keep up with these developments. We’ll be doing this by showcasing a number of working solutions that we have successfully developed for our clients.
