Wics Solutions, a Gorinchem-based logistics software systems provider, has been acquired by Haven Ventures. This is an investment arm of Breda-based logistics service provider in automated warehouses Newcold. The Haven Ventures umbrella also includes warehouse management software (wms) supplier Davanti.
Wics was founded 30 years ago and grew into a global provider of WMS solutions. According to Jacco Hassefras, general director of WICS Solutions, it was time for the family business to take the next step. 'By using everyone's knowledge, network and resources within the Haven Ventures group, we can strengthen each other and further develop and implement our products.'
Wics will work closely with Davanti within the Haven Ventures group.
