Another edition of ICT&Logistics will take place at the Royal Jaarbeurs on 8 and 9 November 2023, with the theme being 'Fit for the Future'. The central question is how to keep a grip on logistics operations as an organisation, now and in the future. Data-driven logistics can offer a way out for this.
ICT&Logistics is a meeting place for technological innovation within the logistics sector. For two days, the trade fair offers inspiration and information around the theme 'Fit for the Future'. Meanwhile, exhibitors have already signed up, including Slimstock, Actemium, Zetes, Zebra and Indicium.
Commenting on the theme, exhibition manager Corien den Ouden reveals that the transport and logistics sectors face the same challenge. 'Getting the right goods to the right place at the right time. This is more difficult than ever before. Customers increasingly want convenience and speed, while the availability of goods can no longer be taken for granted. The world demands climate-neutral operations, but there are hardly any people left to carry them out. That is why , during ICT&Logistics, we delve deeper into the question of how the sector can get ready for the future.'
The upcoming exhibition edition will focus on further digitalisation. Every day, thousands of people in logistics are engaged in administrative or physical operations that take time and cause errors. By automating these processes, companies can do more work with fewer people, speed up their logistics processes and improve their services at the same time. And perhaps most importantly, digitisation provides the basis for data-driven logistics and better decisions, says Den Ouden.
