Dokvast has installed more than 16,000 solar panels on the roof of its NewLogic VI building in Eindhoven. With the expected output, around 1,300 local households will be supplied with power annually.
Dokvast rents NewLogic VI to the German logistics service provider Rhenus Contract Logistics. The building achieved sustainability rating BREEAM-NL Outstanding. There are now 16,864 solar panels on the 41,000-square-metre roof. The expected output is 4,400 MWh per year, good for the local power supply of some 1,300 households.
Property developer Dokvast is deploying more distribution centres to generate green power. It set up Powerling B.V. specifically to develop solar roofs. There are now a total of 40,000 solar panels on three Dokvast distribution centres. Together, these solar roofs produce more than 11,000 MWh of solar power.
