Property developer DHG has sold its distribution centre in Moerdijk to investor Real I.S. for 35.5 million euros. DHG started construction last year at its own risk and delivered it fully let to the buyer last week.
The distribution complex in the Moerdijk port consists of a 37,780-square-metre warehouse, 3,225-square-metre office space and 2,555-square-metre mezzanine. Long-term tenants are Manuli Fluiconnecto, Base Logistics, AWL Moerdijk and Maclean Products."
DHG is currently developing a second distribution campus in Moerdijk. This project consists of two phases. Of these, the first part of 17,651 square metres has been leased to Rulewave. The second distribution centre of 26,500 square metres will be completed in early April and has not yet been leased. Meanwhile, DHG is also planning four new Smartlog distribution centres in the coming year. These are a DC in Bergen op Zoom (approx. 48,500 square metres), the Harnaschpolder in Delft (approx. 44,000 square metres) and two distribution centres in Rotterdam-Europoort (total approx. 120,500 square metres).
