Domino's is going to deliver pizzas with a self-driving vehicle. To do so, it is working with car manufacturer Ford in the United States.

Ford and Domino's will test autonomous delivery in Michigan next month. Customers can choose to have their pizza delivery done by a self-driving Ford Fusion Hybrid. Domino's wants to find out how customers react to this option. Consumers will not see an empty car drive by; for now, there is still an engineer Ford behind the wheel.

However, consumers will take their orders out of the car themselves. Via the Domino's app, they receive a unique code. A screen and speakers in the vehicle allow for communication with the consumer.
