Logistics service provider DSV Solutions is building a 90,000-square-metre distribution centre in Tholen. The building will be used to store a variety of goods for customers of the Danish company.
DSV Solutions division is engaged in designing, setting up and managing total logistics concepts. In Europe, it has around four hundred distribution centres, with a total area of more than five million square metres.
The company wants to expand in Bergen op Zoom and therefore bought a 15-hectare plot in neighbouring Tholen. There, it is building a 90,000-square-metre building, which will provide space for around 200 employees, with transport and other spin-offs adding another 200 FTEs.
The municipality of Tholen will soon start preparing the site for construction. Completion of the first compartments is planned for May 2020.
