Heembouw has started building a distribution centre on the Oudeland industrial estate in Berkel en Rodenrijs. The building will have a surface area of 20,300 square metres and is intended for one or two logistics tenants.
The distribution centre will consist of a warehouse of approximately 17,494 square metres, 750 square metres of office space and a mezzanine of 2,2025 square metres.
Heembouw is developing the property in cooperation with investor Aviva. According to the parties, the business park has a favourable location in relation to Rotterdam airport and port. Oudeland's accessibility will also improve with the extension of the extended A16 motorway in 2025.
The new site is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021.
