Fourth Party Packaging, the Safest Warehouse in the Netherlands, return logistics and leadership in the supply chain. You will encounter these topics in the LogistiekProfs theatre during the first day of the Logistica exhibition.
LogistiekProfs will be present in hall 10 this exhibition edition with a theatre full of knowledge sessions, where Johan Faes kicks off at 12:45 with a lecture on the rise of 4PPs. 4PPs? Fourth Party Packaging - we all know the 4PL; a control tower or chain control. But what about in the field of packaging? Who is integrally responsible for packaging within a complex supply chain? Very often nobody. Faesgroep therefore introduces the term Fourth Party Packaging.
Would you like to attend this lecture but are not at the fair on Tuesday? Johan Faes will also give the same lecture on Wednesday between 14:15 and 14:45
After this, from 13:30 to 14:00 you can join a lecture on leadership in the supply chain, given by BLMC's Bastiaan van der List and Maarten Snijders. They will talk about the shift from logistics to supply chain management, the obstacles you may encounter and how to tackle them.
At 14:15, Stef de Bont of 12retour will give a lecture on return logistics. De Bont explains why return logistics is part of a larger business process, titled: 'Returns; fix the problems, leverage the opportunity.
The day will end with a lecture by CEVA Logistics, winner Het Veiligste Magazijn van Nederland. Between 15:00 and 15:45, Karel Loeffen, Operations excellence manager, will talk about the road to the title. What measures did CEVA take to become the safest warehouse in the Netherlands? And how did the company involve its employees?
You can register for the lectures here to secure yourself a spot! See you at Logistica!
