At the Solutrans trade fair in Lyon, Jacky Perrenot and TransFollow announced a partnership after an extensive six-month trial period. The partnership contributes to the Jacky Perrenot Group's goal of not only making its logistics operation more sustainable and efficient, but also preparing for the gradual introduction of mandatory digital freight documentation such as eCMR. Just recently, the French logistics provider announced its intention to acquire Vos Logistics.

Jacky Perrenot was looking for a secure, robust and widely recognised solution that could be seamlessly linked to its internal transport management system (TMS). "The solution must be able to support all our transport activities, from general cargo or bulk to temperature-controlled or oversized loads. We need a solution that is flexible, adaptable and interoperable and that improves the speed and reliability of information provision," said Teddy Danet, Group CIO at Jacky Perrenot.

Mobile solutions

Jacky Perrenot is particularly impressed with the mobile solutions TransFollow Drive and TransFollow Messenger. "These have facilitated communication between drivers and subcontractors, allowing us to standardise training and ensure the availability of consistent, reliable data throughout our network," states Danet. The TransFollow Drive mobile application also received a lot of positive feedback from Jacky Perrenot's driver instructors because of its simplicity and ease of use

Of strategic importance

"The partnership with the Jacky Perrenot Group is of strategic importance for TransFollow," said Alexis Perinet-Marquet, general manager of TransFollow. "It fits perfectly with our culture of intensive support and collaboration. We are constantly improving our solutions to meet the challenges of digital transformation in the most complex, fragmented and technically diverse environments."

TransFollow continues to work with major European logistics providers to promote paperless transport and improve operational efficiency across the sector.
