Transporeon has developed a new transport planning solution. With this Transport Planner tool, the IT company claims to enable fast and efficient planning at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems. Together with new tools and functions on the Transporeon platform, this planning tool forms a modular Transport Management System (TMS).
Transporeon's new planning capabilities and AI-driven innovations address critical logistics challenges in three key solution areas. This builds on Transporeon's existing offering, with AI becoming a fundamental part of the new TMS proposition to deliver tangible results such as reduced administrative burden and higher productivity in warehouses. For example, one customer reported 20 per cent more loading capacity thanks to the Transporeon Time Slot Management solution, while another managed to reduce order status queries by 40 per cent with Transporeon Visibility.

Integrated solutions
Transporeon's new planning capabilities and AI-driven enhancements address critical logistics challenges in three key solution areas. For example, the new Transport Planner tool delivers optimal transport planning with speed and efficiency, at a fraction of the cost of complex systems.
The Transport Assignment solution for assigning transports now also integrates the 'autonomous procurement' and 'autonomous quotation' functions. This allows users to manage and automate the entire process of quoting, negotiating and assigning spot shipments in one place, streamlining operations for both shippers and carriers.
The Transporeon Visibility solution has been enhanced with advanced tracking functionalities for both sea freight (management of demurrage and detention) and air freight. This provides complete, real-time visibility of shipments from origin to destination.
Freight Marketplace
The next-gen Freight Procurement tool within Freight Marketplace uses data science and AI to enable smarter decision-making for both shippers and carriers.
Freight Marketplace now also offers enhanced multi-lane RFQ functionality for strategic procurement, and uses accurate data from the Market Insight solution.
The next-gen Time Slot Management tool optimises yard flow from one place for carriers. In addition, the new tools Yard Pre-Check-In and Digital Transport Documents enable fully automated and paperless truck handling.
