Utrecht, 22 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs's Logistica Next trade fair will team up with Dilas, the knowledge and network organisation for the logistics and industrial real estate sector. The aim of this cooperation is to share knowledge on complex issues within the logistics real estate sector. The Logistica Next trade fair will take place from 5 to 7 November 2024 at Royal Jaarbeurs.
Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager Logistica Next: "Through the cooperation with Dilas, we can from now on inform our visitors about the valuable role real estate can play in terms of sustainability, energy transition and making our country more beautiful. Cooperation between government and logistics property sector badly needed
The logistics real estate sector faces a significant challenge. On the one hand, space needs to be made for sustainable economic growth; on the other, there is a lack of locations. Take-up of the logistics property market will fall to 1.7 million sq m this year, a halving compared to 2022. This is according to recent research by logistics and real estate consultancy Buck Consultants International (BCI). Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager Logistica Next: "Solving complex issues requires cooperation between government and the logistics real estate sector. Based on these thoughts, we are proud of the new cooperation with Dilas. Together, we are developing a content programme with which we want to make a valuable contribution to the social issues surrounding logistics."
Power of knowledge sharing and connection at Logistica Next
At Logistica Next, exhibitors will show innovative solutions needed to make logistics processes increasingly efficient and effective. The trade fair also focuses, among other things, on the future of logistics real estate in the Netherlands. Edgar van Eekelen, director ELBA\REC, Dilas' programme office: "Logistica Next is the platform for Dilas (Dutch Industrial Logistics Association) to share knowledge and engage with the logistics professional, we are very happy with this new cooperation." Dilas is the connector between all stakeholders in the logistics and industrial real estate chain and makes an effort to further develop this sector in a sustainable and socially responsible way. Together with its participants, the knowledge partner wants to work on solutions to societal challenges, which limit the logistics and industrial real estate sector.
