Primark has already outgrown its distribution centre near Roosendaal. The Irish fashion retailer is adding 30,000 square metres to its XXL DC, which already covers 56,000 square metres.

On LinkedIn, property investor Logistics Capital Partners (LCP) reports that it has started construction work together with German asset manager Dietz. The extension at business park Borchwerf II in Oud Gastel is due for completion in January 2020.

Primark has been operating in Oud-Gastel since the summer of 2016. Clothing and accessories from the fashion giant are brought to the distribution centre from the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, from where stock goes to Primark shops in the Benelux and France. DSV Solutions handles the logistics operation at the property.
