Paul Nijhof is nominated to succeed Ed Nijpels as chairman of interest group Thuiswinkel.org. The former director of Wehkamp 'fits in perfectly with the association with his knowledge of the e-commerce industry and striking vision of the future', writes Thuiswinkel.org.
Ed Nijpels has been chairman of the online shopping association for the past eight years. During that time, Nijhof was also involved in Thuiswinkel.org. Between 2006 and 2010, he was vice-chairman. Nijhof worked at RFS Holland Holding until May 2013. He then moved to French 3SL, part of Otto Group. After eighteen months, he took leave there, saying his job there was finished.
On 18 January, Thuiswinkel.org will nominate Nijhof as the new chairman of the interest group. The nomination will take place during the association's General Assembly of Members.
