The US-based company Decowraps is having a new
distribution centre at Green Park Aalsmeer. VDR Bouwgroep is aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification for the project.
Decowraps, a specialist in packaging materials for cut flowers and potted plants, has a strong focus on the United States, but also targets flower capital Aalsmeer. The layout of the distribution centre was designed by Groenewout. The building design comes from architect Ronald Wieggers and VDR Bouwgroep is responsible for the engineering, structural works and construction realisation.
VDR Bouwgroep has now started construction. Decowraps expects to be operational in the new facility next summer.
