Real estate player Warehouse de Pauw (WDP) is expanding into Germany, with the logistics property developer having entered into a joint venture with German counterpart VIB Vermögen.
Through a joint venture, WDP and VIB want to expand in the regions of North Rhine-Westphalia, Bremen and Hamburg, writes the FD. There, they mainly want to develop themselves, but the companies do not exclude the purchase of existing properties.
WDP is the largest developer of logistics property in the Netherlands. Our country was the company's growth engine for a long time. According to CEO Joost Uwents, the exponential growth in the Netherlands is now over, forcing the company to tap new markets. WDP is also active in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Romania.
