Logistics IT companyCaptureTech acquires peer IT-innovators. The acquisition allows CaptureTech to offer more general IT services.
CaptureTech provides hardware and software solutions for companies with their own distribution centres. Now that it owns all shares in IT-innovators, CaptureTech plans to offer more general services as well.
According to CaptureTech, the acquisition was a 'make or buy' decision. "For example, when we built a wifi network in a distribution centre, we did not provide all the IT solutions around it," explains ceo Maarten Anderson. "These services were then carried out by the client's own supplier in question or by a party recommended by us. Think, for example, of workplace, server management and Cloud services. We noticed in the market that our customers were keen to buy those services from us with the level of service they already knew."
All IT-innovators employees will join the new partnership. After the merger, CaptureTech will consist of 50 FTEs.The former owner of IT-innovators will take a seat in the new management.
