De Buren, operator of vault walls, introduces loose safes to homes and commercial properties. Web shoppers and other interested parties can purchase the 'Safe at Home' for around 250 euros. This way, parcels can always be delivered, even if the recipient is not at home. Customers do not have to choose vault delivery when ordering. It is up to parcel deliverers to use the vault if someone is not at home. These deliverers pay about 10 cents to access the vault.

PIN code
The safe is installed on the outside of a home or business premises. A variable PIN is required to open the safe, and this is different for each order. An app provides the code for that specific order.

Early 2015
The ‘Kluis aan Huis’ is currently still being tested and further developed. The accompanying app is also still under development. The first safes are likely to be launched in early 2015.
