Wehkamp does away with shipping costs on orders over twenty euros. In the run-up to the holidays, the online department store already tested free shipping costs with consumers. Wehkamp reportedly received many positive reactions to this.
For orders below twenty euros, customers pay a shipping fee of 2.95. Above that amount, shipping is free. In a press release, Wehkamp says that customers have been placing orders more frequently due to the new service proposition. "Many more new customers have also joined."
Free shipping does not apply to same-day delivery for now. The same-day delivery option was already no longer offered last months when Wehkamp tested free shipping. It is unclear when the etailer will start same-day delivery again.
