German retailers selling via eBay can now outsource their logistics to the online marketplace. With EBay Fulfilment and eBay Shipping, it handles the fulfilment and shipping of items sold online.
For the new service, eBay is collaborating with Hermes, DPD and Fiege. Sellers can register their shipments online. It is still unclear what they will pay for the fulfilment service.
Test phase
For now, only sellers in the Bremen area of Germany can use the service, which is currently still in the testing phase. Next year, eBay hopes to expand the service to other parts of Germany.
