In order to be prepared for the future, the iSHARE system has set up a foundation. The iSHARE Foundation will, among other things, ensure compliance with the agreements and facilitate further developments in the system.
iSHARE Foundation
Every party that joins the iSHARE Foundation works according to the system's agreements. To this end, the party integrates the API specifications into its software and must demonstrate that it complies with the system's agreements. To formally join, the company signs a so-called 'Accession Agreement' with the iSHARE Foundation.
Further development
The iSHARE Foundation operates independently, transparently and on a not-for-profit basis. Among other things, the foundation monitors compliance with the agreements, manages the processes involved in accession and facilitates further changes to the system.
"The governance of the foundation is structured in such a way that logistics organisations that are participants in the iSHARE system contribute at strategic, tactical and operational level to the further development of iSHARE, so that the system remains in line with the needs of the logistics sector itself," says Eefje van der Harst, Project Manager iSHARE.
Financial support for implementation
During trade fair ICT & Logistiek, the Top Sector Logistics announced that it will financially support companies in the implementation of iSHARE. Entrepreneurs who start working with the iSHARE arrangement system in the first quarter of 2019 are now eligible for a voucher of 5,000 euros.
