Save Your Parcel is going to collect returns from consumers' homes. From 1 January, consumers will be able to register their online order for the returns service. Save Your Parcel will arrive at their door the same evening.
Same day delivery carrier Red je Pakketje has been growing exponentially in recent years. Every month, it adds around 15 to 20 new online shops to its customer base. For all these webshops, the company delivers parcels ordered before 2pm on the same day.
Now the carrier is also getting into returns. Webshops can register a return with Red je Pakketje until 2pm. Red je Pakketje's courier will then arrive at the consumer's door between 18:00 and 22:00.
“We noticed that many consumers hold onto orders because they find the hassle of returning them themselves too great. With our returns service, that’s a thing of the past,” says CEO Sam Rohn in a press statement. Red je Pakketje provides consumers with a return label. They receive a real-time time slot of up to half an hour via email. “Are you having dinner with friends and find yourself not at not at home? Then simply notify us of your change of address by phone,” explains Rohn.
Within two days the parcel is delivered back to the webshop. For webshops, the conditions are the same as for sending parcels, the company said.
