Delivery platform Bringly deploys bicycle couriers to deliver products from local retailers. Orders are delivered to consumers' homes the same day by bicycle.

On 10 June, Bringly will launch an app in Amsterdam similar to platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Instead of restaurants, Bringly focuses on local retailers. Consumers can place an order here, which will be delivered home by the bicycle courier for a fee. This could be groceries, but also clothes from the dry cleaner, an order from the pharmacy or a purchase from Marketplace.

The sending party needs to stick the address label from the app on the parcel so that the bicycle courier can scan the items. For same-day delivery, the order must be placed before 2pm. Consumers pay 5.99 for Bringly.

The launch in Amsterdam may be followed by expansion to other major cities in the Netherlands.
