Parcel delivery service Packaly is expanding its delivery area to four additional cities. Shopkeepers in Amstelveen, Tilburg, Maastricht and Amersfoort will soon be able to have parcels delivered by Packaly bicycle couriers.
This reports RetailTrends.Packaly started in 2019 as an on-demand delivery service in Utrecht, a kind of Deliveroo for non-food items. Retailers can integrate Packaly into their online shop and offer it as a delivery option in the checkout process. Bicycle couriers pick up the parcel at the shop and deliver it to the customer within 60 minutes.
Besides Utrecht, Packaly now cycles in Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. So four cities will soon be added. "We see tremendous growth in e-commerce," says ceo Axel Dekker. "In the past few months, we have grown rapidly and we see retailers joining daily to get their deliveries to their customers on time and 100 per cent sustainable. To expand our service level, it was time to add new cities to the service area."
