Utrecht, 17 September 2026 – The logistics sector is facing far-reaching changes in the areas of staffing, energy, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. With ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next, powered by LogiNext, Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs is bringing the sector together to explore how companies can translate these transitions into practical solutions for their day-to-day operations. From 3 to 5 November 2026, over 10,000 professionals, experts and decision-makers will gather. Technological innovations, practical examples and sector-wide knowledge will take centre stage, all centred on one question: how do we build a smart, agile and future-proof logistics chain?

Logistics at a tipping point
Digitalisation, automation and AI are no longer just differentiating factors, but are now decisive for the competitiveness of logistics organisations. Organisations must be able to adapt more quickly, manage available capacity more intelligently and, at the same time, invest in sustainable and future-proof logistics chains. At ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next, the digital and physical worlds of logistics therefore come together. On the exhibition floor, suppliers, technology partners, experts and decision-makers will come together to discuss current topics such as AI, data, software, warehouse automation, robotics, energy and supply chain optimisation. Ricardo Vivas Leeuwen, Cluster Manager for Manufacturing & Logistics at Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs: “The challenges surrounding staff, energy and digitalisation affect virtually every logistics organisation. On the exhibition floor, we bring together the parties that need each other to solve these issues in practice.”

From innovation to implementation
The trade fairs demonstrate how technology is becoming an increasingly integral part of day-to-day logistics operations. Visitors will gain insight into practical applications of artificial intelligence, smart automation, robotisation and data-driven decision-making. At the same time, there is a strong focus on issues surrounding energy, sustainability and future-proofing logistics infrastructure. New this year are, amongst other things, the Experience Hub and the Energy & Estate Pavilion, where experts and market players demonstrate how companies are preparing for the next phase of logistics innovation. Exhibitor Denny van Veen from Kardex says: “The logistics sector needs places where knowledge and practice come together. ICT&Logistiek and Logistica Next offer exactly that. Here, we hold discussions with professionals who are making decisions today about the logistics of tomorrow. These meetings yield valuable insights and new partnerships.”

Logistics challenges call for collaborative solutions
In a sector that is becoming increasingly digitalised, personal contact remains invaluable. New technology ultimately only becomes successful when organisations share knowledge, learn from one another and work together to implement it. Ricardo Vivas Leeuwen: “As a connector within the logistics sector, we believe in the power of face-to-face meetings. It is on the exhibition floor that the conversations, ideas and collaborations that lead to innovation take place. That is the added value we offer as Jaarbeurs: bringing people together to shape the logistics of tomorrow.”
