DHL Parcel deploys electric delivery vans in Rotterdam and Utrecht. With its compact size, the Goupil, developed by a French company, is intended for inner-city distribution.

The Goupil has a length of 217 centimetres. The cargo box has a capacity of three cubic metres and opens on three sides: both sides and the back. The trolley reaches a maximum speed of 50 kilometres per hour. According to DHL, the battery easily lasts an entire delivery day.

In the first phase, DHL will deploy the truck only in Rotterdam and Utrecht. Expansion to other cities may follow afterwards.

With the truck, DHL Parcel further expands its sustainable fleet. The parcel delivery company now operates 300 electric vehicles, including the Streetscooter and cargo bike Cubicycle.
