Lingerie chain Hunkemöller wants to grow, but there is no room for it in its current distribution centre in Hilversum. The retailer is therefore looking for a new location.

Hunkemöller's number of shops will be increased from 800 to 1,600 in the coming years. The current distribution centre cannot accommodate this growth. Moreover, its location between a residential area and a railway line makes it unsuitable for expansion. Local residents have been campaigning for years against freight traffic to and from the DC.

In the Hilversum area, Hunkemöller is now looking for a new logistics location. In doing so, it is considering both existing premises and new centres. The retailer expects to move to the new location within two years.
