In Waalwijk, next to Ingram Micro's distribution centre, drivers will soon be able to stay overnight on a campus. The campus is intended for migrant workers, but also offers space for truck drivers who currently sleep in their trucks.

A campus for migrant workers, called WorkInn Waalwijk, will be opened at Haven Zeven industrial estate in October. Temporary workers will go to work in nearby distribution centres. By building an overnight location on the business park, less travel time is needed and employment agencies do not have to arrange transport. It is the third large-scale accommodation for labour migrants in Waalwijk.

After construction started, it was decided that the campus should also have space for truck drivers who want to spend the night there. Next to the campus, there is already a car park for truckers, who currently sleep in their trucks here. The campus where they can go also has a restaurant.

Because the use function is changing, an additional permit is needed. That permit has now been applied for.
