Shippeo has raised twenty million euros of investment money. The supply chain visibility platform is currently one of the fastest growing startups in Europe.

Shippeo was founded in 2014 with the aim of "revolutionising supply chain visibility". The platform gives international companies insight into real-time logistics data. Shippers, carriers and end customers can continuously monitor their deliveries, allowing them to quickly identify problems and anticipate in time. The company now operates in 40 countries, from seven offices in Europe. Last year, Shippeo saw its sales increase by 300 per cent.

Disruption supply chain industry

According to Shippeo, the supply chain industry is highly fragmented and outdated in terms of technology. With more than 600,000 road transport companies in Europe, digitalisation presents a huge opportunity for industry disruption, the startup said.

Capital injection

Shippeo received the capital injection in a Series B round, from investors NGP Capital, ETF Partners, Bpifrance Digital Venture and Partech. "We are immensely proud to work with these top tier investment firms. Their international reach and strong experience in the mobility sector will help us implement our ambitious strategy to become a global leader in a multi-billion dollar market," said Pierre Khoury, CEO Shippeo.

With the investment sum, Shippeo aims to increase its customer base fivefold in the coming years. The team will be expanded by 150 new employees and R&D investments in AI and automation will be scaled up.
