At ICT&Logistics, Nimmsta will present a revolutionary interlogistics ecosystem that seamlessly connects software and hardware. CEO Andreas Frunthauser says: "We have developed a configurable workflow that increases productivity by up to 50% and eliminates errors." The system combines a productivity cloud, an industrial smartwatch and the LIGHTX wireless system. Employees get direct, two-way guidance on the hand, while locations light up without cabling or extra backend work.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and your company?
I am Andreas Frunthauser, CEO of Nimmsta. We have developed the first interlogistics ecosystem that brings together software and hardware. With it, we create configurable workflows for interlogistics that continuously increase productivity, by up to 50%, and eliminate errors.
What is the innovation you are showing at the fair, and what makes it unique?
Our end-to-end solution combines a productivity cloud, an industrial smartwatch and the wireless LIGHTX system. Employees receive two-way guidance via their wrist, while locations light up without cabling or extra backend work.Through the cloud, workflows can be configured, devices managed, updates made wirelessly and KPIs tracked in real time. Underlying trends are staff shortages, rising costs due to mispicks and the need for ergonomic, sustainable tools.
How does your solution help improve the logistics process or operations?
Customers demand more productivity without staff growth, and accuracy that sits in the system design not having to be checked only afterwards. The impact with customers is clear: time savings, reduced picking time and reduction of errors by 95%.
What can visitors expect when they stop by your stand?
Hands-on picking and sorting workflows with the smartwatch and the LIGHTX system, plus quick workflow adjustments in the productivity cloud. You can try it out for yourself at our stand!
Why should visitors really not miss your stand?
Our solution is proven at scale at Rewe and Mercedes-Benz, among others, and integrates quickly with existing WMS or ERP systems. We have already interfaced with many systems. Come and see real workflows, not slideware.
What is your vision for the future of the sector?
Our vision of interlogistics revolves around human-centric automation: wearables plus cloud orchestration at the edge of the process, where each step is verified, adjusted in real time and rolled out quickly. This way, continuous improvement takes place where the work really happens.
