How do you ensure that production and internal logistics work seamlessly together? KV-Techniek will show at Logistica Next how smart automation makes this possible. At the stand, you will experience a powerful combination of a robot palletiser and an AGV from GO, The AGV Company. Together, they provide a concrete picture of how end-of-line processes and internal transport can be efficiently coordinated - an approach that really makes a difference in practice. We spoke to KV-Techniek about this and asked them some questions about their innovations, market trends and their vision for the future.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself and your company?
We help production companies optimise their processes with innovative automation solutions, such as robots and AGVs. KV-Techniek is a specialist in industrial and logistics automation. Based on our expertise in robot integration, last year we founded GO, The AGV Company - a logical step to seamlessly link internal logistics to automated production processes as well.
- What is the innovation you are showing at the fair, and what makes it unique?
At the show, we will show part of an end-of-line solution: a robot palletiser that stacks boxes and a GO AGV that automatically takes the full pallet. Despite the limited space on the stand, this gives a powerful picture of how production and internal logistics can be cleverly aligned - a combination that makes all the difference in practice
- What trends or challenges in the market prompted this development?
We see more and more companies automating their production, think casepacking and palletising. This is also necessary, given labour shortages, rising labour costs and the pressure to work in an increasingly sustainable way. But once that production is running at constant speed, internal logistics must not become a bottleneck. The challenge then is: how do you connect transport perfectly with the rest of the process? Our scalable solutions answer exactly that question.
- How does your solution help improve the logistics process or operations?
Our robotic solutions increase efficiency and reduce costs. Not only are they fast and accurate, but they also take over heavy and repetitive tasks. This significantly improves working conditions. Thanks to automation, results remain consistent, keeping quality high. Take palletising: a robot always stacks according to the same pattern, places an intermediate sheet at the right time and neatly places several boxes on a pallet at the same time.
Our self-driving forklifts are a smart way to reduce reliance on staff shortages and seasonal workers. The advantage of AGVs is that they can operate safely in the same space as steerable forklifts. This is because AGVs are equipped with safety laser scanners that monitor the environment and allow the vehicle to stop at obstacles.
- What can visitors expect when they stop by your stand?
We give a concrete picture of logistics automation - and are happy to engage in conversation. Every situation is different, so we listen to visitors' challenges and talk about automation possibilities. No-nonsense, straightforward. So do you have questions about robot integration or AGVs? - What is your vision for the future of the sector?
The role of automation is only increasing. Companies need to produce more efficiently with fewer people. This requires smart systems that take over routine tasks, while people can focus on what makes the difference. The companies that respond to this now are building their lead of tomorrow.
