An internal transport fleet that is fully adaptable after 12 months. With a single fixed monthly rate including maintenance, repairs and fleet management. That is the essence of Full Flex Rental, Jungheinrich’s new rental scheme. The supplier of forklift and warehouse trucks is thus responding to the growing need among businesses to quickly adapt their internal transport to changing volumes and market conditions.
Logistics operations are constantly evolving. Fluctuating volumes, changing customer needs and economic uncertainty mean it is becoming increasingly important for businesses to be able to adapt flexibly. As a result, committing to a forklift fleet for several years no longer always fits with day-to-day practice. With Full Flex Rental, Jungheinrich offers an alternative.
Flexible investment in internal transport
The new subscription scheme is available for forklift trucks and warehouse trucks featuring both lead-acid and lithium-ion technology. After a minimum contract term of twelve months, customers can adapt their fleet to their current needs. This allows them to add trucks when workload increases, swap equipment when operational requirements change, or return trucks when demand decreases.
“Full Flex Rental offers businesses a new level of flexibility. Especially when volumes and market conditions are difficult to predict, you don’t want to be tied to a forklift fleet that no longer meets your needs. With Full Flex Rental, customers can adapt their equipment much more easily. Truck, hire period and price: everything is flexible”, says Robert Smit, Director of Rental, Used Equipment & Indirect Sales at Jungheinrich.
A completely hassle-free solution
As well as flexibility, Full Flex Rental also offers a high level of peace of mind. Customers pay a single fixed monthly fee which includes maintenance, servicing and repairs in the event of technical faults. This gives them clarity on their monthly costs in advance and minimises unexpected expenditure as much as possible. In addition, customers gain access to the Jungheinrich Fleet Management System. This provides them with real-time insight into the usage and performance of their forklift trucks. This helps businesses deploy their fleet more efficiently, optimise the use of equipment and better control costs.
With this new formula, Jungheinrich is further expanding its existing rental portfolio and offering companies a solution that aligns with the changing way in which logistics organisations wish to deploy their equipment. “Our customers want to run their businesses without their internal transport operations acting as a constraint. With our rental solutions, we ensure they have the right forklift trucks available when they need them. Full Flex Rental adds an important new dimension to this: the ability to adjust the size and composition of the fleet in line with business operations,” said Smit.
