At ICT&Logistics, Art & Reno will present their mechanical renovation technique for industrial concrete floors. Using machines developed in-house, existing floors are grinded and polished into super-flat, dust-free and wear-resistant surfaces that can be used again immediately. "We work exclusively with the existing floor," explains Art & Reno. "By grinding and polishing, we create a sustainable solution that directly contributes to better performance in logistics environments."

Can you briefly introduce yourself and your company?

Art & Reno is a specialist in renovating and polishing industrial concrete floors, transforming existing floors into durable, super-flat and low-maintenance surfaces.

What is the innovation you are showing at the fair, and what makes it unique?

The innovation is in the mechanical renovation technique for concrete floors with our own manufactured machines. The concrete floors are ground and polished to an extremely flat, dust-free and wear-resistant floor that can be reused immediately.

Uniquely, they work with existing concrete floors instead of adding new layers or coatings, which is both more sustainable and efficient.

What trends or challenges in the market prompted this development?

In logistics environments, there is a growing need for perfectly flat and low-maintenance floors, including for maintenance automation and robotisation in warehouses.

In addition, damaged or uneven floors cause machine wear, noise and lower productivity due to back problems among workers on forklifts - forcing companies to invest in better flooring solutions.

How does your solution help improve logistics processes?

Art & Reno floors provide:

  • Less wear and tear on forklifts and machines
  • Less dust and easier maintenance
  • Better light reflection → lower energy costs
  • More stability for automation and robots

Result: a more efficient, safe and sustainable working environment with lower operational costs.

What is your vision for the future of the sector?

The future lies in further automation of warehouses and production environments, where the quality of the floor becomes crucial.

Art & Reno believes in sustainable renovation over replacement: making maximum use of existing materials while meeting the ever-increasing demands of automated logistics.

What can visitors expect when they stop by your stand?

Visitors can expect the following at the stand:

    • Concrete before-and-after results
    • A sample to feel the different layers (end result)
    • Explaining renovation technology and applications
    • Tailor-made advice for their own floor
    • Understanding how floors impact logistics processes

Why should visitors really not miss your stand?

Because floor quality is often underestimated, while it has a direct impact on efficiency, costs and automation.

Art & Reno shows how you can realise a huge upgrade in your entire operation with a relatively simple intervention - without major works or long downtimes.
