EVO is awarding a prize for the first time in 2016 to companies that work well with other chain partners. Entries will be judged, among other things, on team spirit, common strategy and joint innovation.

Companies wishing to stand a chance of winning the award must enter with at least two other chain partners. A cooperation between only a shipper and carrier is therefore not eligible. However, the prize is intended for companies that submit an example of vertical collaboration in the chain with at least two other partners, including a service provider.

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

  1. Team feeling
  2. Common strategy
  3. Interorganisational process design
  4. Collective control
  5. Synergetic results
  6. Joint innovation

The jury consists of Prof Dr Jack van der Veen, two shippers and two logistics service providers: DSV and VAT. The best submissions will get the chance to pitch their case during the SCM Summit on 1 June.
